When we write a comparing statement we need to use words such as: like, same, similar, almost the same, in comparison and both. After we have used one of these words we need to use a joining word such as: because, during, after, which and is. By using these joining words and adding them to our statements we are able to move towards becoming relational thinkers by explaining our statements.
We have been working as a whole class and in buddies and are currently beginning to develop our independence when creating our own statements.
